Two-Layer Parallel Fuzzy Logic Controller Design for Semiactive Suspension System with a Full Car Model

This paper presents research results on semiactive suspension using a fuzzy logic controller. Firstly, full car model is built with 7 degrees of freedom system at all four wheels. The dynamic equations are converted to the state space representation facilitate control design and improve accuracy in simulation design. Then, two-layer parallel controller designed 49 25 rules for two inference systems. In this way, able respond wide operating range output force smoother. Finally, evaluation performed frequency time domains real random road profile, they showed that root mean square value signals when proposed decreased by over 25% compared passive system. clearly demonstrates effectiveness improving ride comfort, holding ensuring travel cars.
